Salmon Patties

Do you have canned salmon in your pantry and you aren't sure what to make with it? These salmon patties are so quick and easy and use only 6 ingredients.

Equipment

  • large skillet for pan frying
  • a good flipping spatula
  • gloves optional for shaping the patties

Ingredients
  

  • 4 6 oz cans salmon drained
  • 1 onion (1 tsp onion powder)
  • 4 eggs lightly beaten
  • 4 tbsp all purpose flour sub gluten free flour if necessary
  • 3 cloves garlic (1/2 tsp garlic powder)
  • 3/4 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Open all of the cans of salmon and drain them of the liquid.
  • Crack the eggs and lightly beat them in a separate bowl.
  • Add all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix with a fork or spatula.
  • Preheat a frying pan and add cooking oil. I use ghee.
  • Form the mixture into 3 inch diameter x 1/2" thick patties. I wear gloves to form them with my hands.
  • Pan fry on each side for about 5 minutes or until browned on each side.
