Description
If you’ve been scrolling social media lately, you’ve probably seen the viral chicken crust pizza everywhere. I’ll admit—I was skeptical. I expected it to taste like…well, chicken.
But after trying it for myself, I completely understand the hype.
The crust doesn’t have a strong chicken flavor at all. Instead, it bakes into a firm, chewy crust that’s surprisingly similar to traditional pizza. It’s sturdy enough to hold your favorite toppings, packed with protein, and made with just three simple ingredients.
Whether you’re eating more protein, looking for a grain-free pizza option, or just want an easy weeknight dinner, this recipe is one you’ll want to make again.
Ingredients
-
- 1 pound ground chicken
-
- 2 large eggs
-
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
-
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
-
- Line a 9×13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground chicken, eggs, and Parmesan until well combined.
-
- Spread the mixture into an even rectangle on the prepared baking sheet. Aim for an even thickness so it bakes uniformly.
-
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the crust is cooked through and lightly golden.
-
- Remove the crust from the oven and carefully add your favorite pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings.
-
- Increase the oven temperature to 450°F.
-
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and beginning to brown.
-
- Let the pizza rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
