Storing homemade bread properly is essential to maintain its freshness and taste for as long as possible. After baking your bread make sure you allow it to cool completely before storing it.
My favorite way to store my homemade bread is by placing it in a linen drawstring bag and then placing it inside of my bread box. The linen bags allow air circulation while also keeping it protected.
By placing the bread bag inside of the breadbox you will prevent the bread from drying out too much. Storing your bread this way will keep it fresh for days.
I have linked by bread box and bags HERE. Not only is this breadbox beautiful, but it also has a large capacity and can fit 2 boules in it at once. I have the McGee brand one but I’ve also linked an identical one that I found on Amazon.
